...food pantry thanks...The Stephentown Food Pantry wishes to thank all the generous people who have donated food and money to the pantry during this holiday season. This broad community support allowed us to provide food for over 70 family holiday dinner bundles in addition to our regular Saturday food distribution needs.
Many individuals and organizations have provided money and food donations: Stephentown Girl Scout Troops, Stephentown Cub Scouts, Stephentown Federated Church, Stephentown Seniors, Hancock Volunteer Fire Department, Berlin Elementary School, The Berry Patch, Ioka Valley Farm, Pease Farm, Cumberland Farms, Stewart’s Shops, Hannaford, Price Chopper, Wal-Mart, Price Rite, Target, Blue Q, Vacation Village Resorts and Wyndham at Bentley Brook. We especially thank the Stephentown Federated Church for providing space for the Pantry.
The Stephentown Food Pantry offers short-term assistance to residents of Stephentown, New York and Hancock, Massachusetts. The pantry is open every Saturday morning except December 24, weather permitting, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Stephentown Federated Church, Garfield Road (County Route 26). This volunteer group has been serving the community since 1983. If you wish to donate money to help fund the pantry, you may send checks to the Stephentown Food Pantry treasurer at P. O. Box 387, Stephentown, NY 12168.
